Last year's Shrimp Open raised over $20,000 - getting us to almost $400,000 total since the tournament began 13 years ago. The funds will be split equally between the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Duke University Medical Center Lung Transplant Program. The funds for Cystic Fibrosis are benchmarked specifically for research to help find a cure. The funds for the Lung Transplant Program are for the team to research new medications, therapies and case studies for the increased life span of lung transplant recipients.

In order to participate, complete an entry form and return along
with payment to reserve your spot. It is an 18 hole Captain's Choice Tournament with a 10:00 A.M. shotgun start. After the tournament, a Shrimp-a-Roo will be held at Michael's with an All-u-Can eat buffet, cash bar, auction and entertainment. Teams will be selected by a random drawing process as the previous years rather than by handicap. Golfers of ALL abilities are welcome. Trophies will be awarded to the top 2 teams, closest to the pins, longest an
shortest drives.
