Congratulations on the first place award for the Seafood Chowder at the
Newport Chowder Cook Off. We were there on our boat and told everyone
a fellow Carolinian would be impossible to beat. Your Chowder was by far
the best and as we spent time in the crowds it was discussed by everyone.
It was not just best it was way above any of the others and everyone knew it!
It's really impressive that your chowder beat out all the others from New England
and beyond. Winning a chowder contes in "chowda-land" is huge! Kudos to the great
food y'all are serving, and for representing southestern NC so well. You make us proud!
